Dr. Aaron F. Nmungwun was born in Africa, educated in America and with dual careers as a respected media/communication expert and as an international aid administrator/diplomat. In the media and communications world he is an executive, educator and writer known for his strategic business planning, cutting-edge vision and his entrepreneurial skills, whose background encompasses the writing, teaching and administration of media research, program development, strategic management, advertising and market development for broadcast television and cable media. For over 20 years he has been a part of winning teams in the television industry, working as an executive, adviser and as a consultant with well-known entertainment, media and broadcast television companies such as HBO, Showtime, Black Entertainment Television, NBC, CBS, ABC, VH-1, Time Warner, MTV, Columbia Pictures, Disney and Nickelodeon. He started his career at A.C. Nielsen Company as a junior media executive, where he was involved in various pioneering research studies in the then new technologies section of the television industry. Soon, he expanded his experience to include conducting competitive analysis, market evaluation and analysis, new product/market development, television syndication and strategic management, allowing him the privilege and experience in becoming directly involved in the research and promotional facets of the development of the infant video, cable and satellite television industries. Subsequently, he co-founded Atisi Group, Inc., a company which among other things developed marketing solutions and arranged major advertising and public relations events for clients that included television companies, independent movies and record production companies. His book, Video Recording Technology: Its Impact on Media and Home Entertainment, is a respected Broadcast textbook used throughout the US. For a period of eight years, Dr. Aaron F. Nmungwun was an officer in the Communication Division of UNICEF, an agency of the United Nations in New York that is the main advocate for children around the globe. His work took him across several countries around the globe, including Africa. Dr. Nmungwun holds a double major Bachelor of Science Degree in Management and Industrial Relations and International Business from New York University; a Masters of Business Administration degree in Marketing Management from Pace University Graduate School of Business, New York; a Masters of Arts degree in Film and Television (Cinema) and a Ph.D. in Communications specializing in Cinema, Media Studies and New Technologies in Media from New York University.

Len Fertig is an American-born communications and media executive, consultant, and entrepreneur who has created and managed television businesses in Europe and the USA for the past 25 years. Known as a strategic leader and problem solver, he has developed winning strategies for publicly listed and private companies and executed them by motivating and inspiring management teams to achieve challenging goals. Recently, he has performed strategic and development consulting to clients such as BBC, ITN, the British Science Museum, and HBO and serves as a non-executive Director to Futuremedia plc. Prior to that, he was Executive Chairman of Media Content plc, a UK-listed sports television company. Previously, Len Fertig was co-founder and CEO of Central European Media Enterprises Inc. Under his leadership, CME grew in five years from a startup to a billion-dollar NASDAQ-listed multinational broadcasting company. With operations in eight countries covering 110 million viewers, CME became the leading and fastest-growing media business in Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Fertig developed the strategy and business plans, identified and built local operating partnerships, won the television licenses, and hired and directed a management team that launched and operated successful commercial television businesses in each country. Earlier in his career, as co-founder, Executive VP, and CFO of Reiss Media Enterprises, Len Fertig launched Request Television, the first national pay-per-view cable channel in the United States in 1985. This involved negotiating and implementing agreements with seven major studios and arranging distribution with all major cable MSO's for program distribution. While at Reiss Media, he also created Guest Cinema, a cable satellite movie service delivered to hotel guests. In the 1980's, Len Fertig provided consulting services to entrepreneurs and major media companies in the USA developing of new television channels and related businesses such as The Entertainment Channel (A&E), Comedy Central, and DirecTV. During the 1970's, Mr. Fertig was an executive in the airline industry serving in operations improvement, finance, and marketing positions for TWA and American Airlines and as a consultant to Republic Airlines, Midway, and the Trump Shuttle. During the period of airline deregulation, he was involved with the creation and development of such innovations as the Super Saver fare, the AAdvantage Mileage program, introduction of Business Class, and the transition of the industry from a highly regulated to a market based competitive environment. Leonard M. Fertig holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Columbia University along with work toward the PhD. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. Additionally, he holds a certification as a financial planner from Adelphi University and has been a registered investment advisor with the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He also served on the IT/IS leadership, management and products, processes and services development teams at General Dynamics Amphibious Systems, BDM Corporation, Litton/PRC, American Technical Services Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Keane Federal Systems, UNISYS Federal Systems, and Raytheon in areas of integrated systems, hardware, manufacturing and software engineering efforts. Educated at the University of Minnesota, Mrs. Adasi most recently, was the Growth Manager for the Science and Engineering Alliance (SEA), a non-profit research organization based in Washington, D.C. where she was responsible for the administration and financial structure of the organization. Her duties encompassed grant and contracts, procurement, student technical conferences, office management, coordinating activities between the four Historically Black Colleges and Universities served by the alliance: Alabama A&M University, Jackson State University, Prairie View A&M University and Southern University and A&M College; Combined Federal Campaign (CFC); and much more. For fourteen years he was an independent producer, show creator, talent coordinator and consultant to WDR National German television and radio, where his musical theatre productions " Harlem Story" and "Deutschland Lied" earned him German theatrical and television awards, and he co- produced the entertainment segments for the 1996 German annual TV Awards show, TELSTAR. During the Soviet Union's period of Glasnost, Yeager assisted their Department of Culture to improve its image enhancement and public relations in the United States and to produce special events in the United States and the Soviet Union. John Luff is an independent media technology consultant specializing in a wide range of television technology, facility planning and system design issues. Over the last four decades his clients have included public and commercial broadcasters across North America and Europe. In 2005 he was elected a Fellow of the SMPTE, and currently serves as SMPTE Conference Vice President. He was the founder of Synergistic Technologies Incorporated (STI), which was purchased by AZCAR, where he served until 2006. He was responsible for design and project management for the first 720p origination center at ABC in NY, as well as the first 720p HDTV mobile unit used to bring Monday Night Football and the Super Bowl to audiences in 1999/2000. For more than a decade he managed the technical coverage of large news events for the EBU around the world. In addition to presentations to SMPTE and SBE conferences, since 1998 he writes a regular column and feature articles for Broadcast Engineering Magazine.

Mrs. Okubanjo has given 20 valuable years of her life in reputable contributions to the broadcast industry in Nigeria. She was a director of programs and principal producer in the former Western Nigeria Broadcasting Service (the Premier Broadcasting Service in Africa). In 1991, she was appointed the Assistant General Manager - Programmes in Ogun State Broadcasting Service and the founding Manager of the station's FM station. Her outstanding performance and experience earned her the coveted appointment as Project Technical Officer with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Lagos, Nigeria, where she monitored zonal program officers and community workers in the implementation of the Federal Government Health Policy. She also provided technical assistance to advertising agencies in the execution of Federal Government and USAID health policy through information, education and communication strategies in Nigeria. She is also an officer of the Association of Media Women. In the United States, Mrs. Okubanjo worked as an Executive Editor for African Express from 1995 through 1996. Grémah Boucar Koura is a Niger born communications and multimedia specialist whose background encompasses radio, television and a combined use of multimedia to positively sensitize the masses as well as promoting education, agriculture and social programmes in Niger Republic. Going against all odds in a military regime, Mr. Koura single-handedly built the Anfani Agency, a private Multimedia Group consisting of Radio Anfani, a private radio station, and Anfani Newspaper, one of the first publications that focused on rural developments in Niger and beyond. He served as the General Manager of Anfani Agency as well as the Editor of 'Anfani Newspaper'. Needless to say that the independent views carried by the Anfani Agency both on radio and in the newspaper often put it at odds with the ruling government. Mr. Koura is counted among the very best in African media for his ingenuity in tailoring his trade to promote social communication projects as well as sustainable development. An effective team leader with excellent management skills, he has been involved in shaping various major communication decisions in Niger and across the African continent. Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Koura has served as National Deputy, Member of the office of the National Assembly of Niger where he is in charge of Information and Communication from 1996 to the present; Manager of the audio-visual cell and popularization of the National grain program (USAID); also as Chief of staff for the Rural Development Ministry where he conceptualized and managed agricultural popularization programs. He cleverly put in place Radio and TV transmissions to sensitize the rural food production that promoted self-sufficiency and as well as environmental protection. Mr. Koura also created a newspaper (Manomi) which focused on the needs of the common worker. His work resulted in several radio and TV productions which were broadcast through state Media. He was the State Radio Agent (Voix du Sahel) and served as a member of the news team in Niamey and then appointed as manager for regional stations in Zinder (1982-1983) and Dosso (1983-1984). Among his various awards are Official recognition from the Superior Counsel of Communication in 1996 for excellent management of a private Radio Station and the promotion of democracy and human rights; International prize 'Onde de Liberté de Presse', Bamako, 1997; International prize 'Onde de Liberté de Presse' presented by the Committee to Protect Journalists, New York, 1998; International prize for the promotion of Human Rights presented by Human Rights Watch, New York, 1999; 2nd prize for 'Ondes de Liberté', Bamako, 1999; Official recognition from 'Associations des femmes du Niger' for the promotion of women in Niger.

Mr. Kalu Azubike Otisi is a well known news reporter with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) International; and has over 25 years of experience in journalism. He began his career in 1983 as News editor with NTA Enugu; and has worked steadily in numerous positions in the television industry. Mr. Otisi received several commendations and awards for outstanding journalism. His accomplishments included coverage of the multiple political court cases; the production and presentation of "You and the Constitution"; and anchoring of the "Nigeria Decides" - the live coverage of 2007 general elections. As the Assistant Director with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC), he established the department as the pioneer head; designed and implemented enlightenment and educational programs aimed at exciting the outrage of Nigerians against corruption. He created, produced and presented television programs on Anti-Corruption -'Fighting Corruption'. Mr. Otisi had also worked as the Assistant Director with the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. In that capacity, he designed, edited and produced an in-house magazine for the Ministry. His last role at the NTA International was that of Manager of News and Current Affairs where he coordinated the news content of NTA International Broadcast; scanned the global environment and situates global events in the African Perspective; supervised news reporting, production, and presentation.
